where D is the shortest diameter in centimetres
L = length in metres
V = volume in cubic metres
2. For logs equal to or greater than 6 m long
V = (D + (L’-4)/2)^2 * (L/10000)
Where D is the shortest diameter in centimetres L is the length in metresL` is the length in metres rounded down to whole metre. V is the volume in cubic metres. Note that (L` 4)/2 is the factor for taper
